Air or gas flow measurements
The versatile device is suitable for measuring air velocity, air volume flow, air pressure and air temperature. Combined with the Pitot tube the TA400 can be used to measure even extreme air speeds of up to 80 m/s, in addition to ambient temperature and air volume flow. For this purpose both round and square cross-sections of the air ducts to be measured can be entered into the device in a differentiated way. Since the Pitot tube has virtually no mechanical or dirt-sensitive sensors, it comes with all the required attributes for applications in rough surroundings with high flow rates and dusty air.
The dynamic pressure anemometer further provides the possibility of determining differential and dynamic pressures. Thanks to its capability of measuring pressure the TA400 also covers additional fields of application such as filter condition measurements on air conditioning systems or differential pressure measurements on gas-fired boilers. As differential pressure measuring device is it also ideally suited for pressure control in isolation zones with vacuum or overpressure conditions, e.g. during restoration work in areas contaminated by mould.
Owing to its advanced microprocessor technology for signal processing, the high-quality measuring device guarantees quick and precise measuring results for every demand. Since the TA400 is equipped with an internal memory management, the determined data can be stored on the device separately in up to 99 data sets anytime during a measurement, also it is possible to call up or delete saved values. All the results can be easily read from the illuminated dual indication of the large display even in case of poor lighting conditions. Moreover, the device is supplied in a carry case – including the calibration certificate which conclusively documents the professional orientation of this precision anemometer.
