The concept of a basic device that can be combined with variable equipment variations – all "made in Germany" – makes the TAC XT an ultimate air handler offering a brand new range of applications, and therefore the maximum investment security possible. 18 kW heating capacity (27 kW optional), a ventilation performance up to 2,500 m³ that can be adjusted by means of several stages and an outlet temperature that can be flexibly set to 75 °C max. make the TAC XT an optimal device for many specific tasks:
- High-performance air purification and virus filtration
- Fully automatic room heating with or without HEPA air purification
- Thermal disinfestation
- Thermal decontamination of rooms and surfaces

Each TAC XT comes equipped with different application programmes for HEPA air purification, room heating, thermal disinfestation and thermal decontamination of rooms and surfaces. All programmes can be adapted to the application purpose, e.g. to the respective room size, treatment type and duration or target temperature.
Due to the wide range of system components you can variably equip the TAC XT for specific applications and change the place of use quickly and easily due to its stable carriage design. 100 % mobile – everywhere it is required, just as you need it. Set it up, connect it to the power supply, select the desired application programme and start the treatment.
TAC XT – one device, two power versions, four key applications
HEPA air purification and virus filtration
An optional H14 HEPA filter can be used singly for room air purification or as an effective virus filter system for on-demand thermal decontamination as well as in combined heating operation for synchronous room heating and air purification.
High-performance interior heating
With 18 or 27 kW heating power, the TAC XT provides draught-free warm air throughout the room with a working radius of 360° and can also be used to connect a fabric air distributor or air distribution systems. Simultaneous HEPA air purification is also possible.
Thermal disinfestation
A special hot air disinfestation treatment programme ensures the killing of any kind of vermin within the treatment radius – efficient and 100 % environmentally friendly, without chemicals or insecticides!
Thermal decontamination
With the TAC XT, COVID-19 and other viruses won't have any chance: its serial programming also allows it to be used as a mobile thermal disinfector for flexible and efficient inactivation of microorganisms both in the room air and on surfaces.

Simple operation
The TAC XT enables user-friendly operation via touchscreen. It comes with integrated application programmes for HEPA H14 air purification, room heating with frost-protection function, thermal pest control and thermal decontamination for rooms and surfaces. These programmes can be adapted to the application purpose, e.g. to the respective room size, treatment duration or target temperature.
Even distribution of warm air and clean air
The specific flap structure of the blowing-out towers (DualDecon and DualHeat) ensures an even and room-filling distribution of warm or clean air and also provides for surface cleaning. During the heating process, the all-directional airflow principle provides for pleasant and draught-free 360° all-round warmth in every room. During decontamination, the room will be completely filled with hot air, even in hard-to-reach places.
Thermal filter decontamination
Unique technology – Trotec exclusive: A part of the special TAC XT is the special, fully encapsulated H14 high-temperature lamellae HEPA filter that is provided with an automatic thermal self-regeneration function, serving to inactivate all viruses in regular intervals. This will decontaminate the filter to 100 %. The results are longer filter lifetimes and an improved filter hygiene. Furthermore, odours emerging from the filter are prevented.
Robust and mobile
Main switch, fuse and connection socket for external thermostat are easily accessible on the side of the unit. Thanks to its sturdy wheels and the adjustable push handle, the "made in Germany" TAC XT with its robust construction is ideally suited for quickly changing the application site. Simply set it up, connect it to the power supply, select the desired application programme and start the treatment.
