Where there is light, there is also shadow – so they say. But how much light is in the shade? That is what our luxmeter BF06 determines; which owing to its new design becomes the shining light among its peers in terms of ergonomics and style. The compelling design in black and yellow goes hand in hand with a carefully considered functional operator guidance – an example of this is the visual island position of the black power button on yellow ground. It now more or less constitutes the upper 'keystone' of the likewise black sides of the device.
On the other hand the new design demonstrates its strength in the haptic qualities of the luxmeter: it fits closely and securely in the hand. Tried and tested German industrial design at its best – and a protected prototype from Trotec!

• BF06 luxmeter
In many trades the accurate measurement of illuminance and incidence of light is a necessary part of a professional job – e.g. in the planning process of architects and landscapers, when working in a film or photographic studio, for the efficiency control of indoor and outdoor lighting equipment and also when measuring the light incidence of plantings in parks, conservatories or in your garden.
Due to the integrated spectral filter of the BF06 the infrared radiation is reliably filtered, so that only the relevant light spectrum is captured. Consequently, the luxmeter's detector meets the requirements of the ISO accepted international commission on illumination (CIE). The large, clearly legible measurement value display, the maximum value function and the automatic display illumination make the device the perfect aid in every field of application – the conceivably easy single-handed operation proved to be particularly convenient.
