Pedestal radiant patio heater IRS 2010 E

2,000 watts of feel-good warmth for your balcony and terrace at its finest – including remote control, two heating levels and a low glare carbon infrared tube

Design and warmth on the cutting edge

The free-standing infrared radiant heater IRS 2010 E is the response to the call for more thermal comfort on terraces and balconies. Whether you use the slim radiant heater in your private surroundings as a heat source that is available at all times to provide for agreeably tempered hours outdoors, or in the catering trade to indulge guests with cosily warm temperatures in the roofed outdoor area: The IRS 2010 E convinces throughout the year as a versatile warmth dispenser for chilly days and nights. Just switch it on and enjoy immediate, intensive warmth in outdoor areas.

Noiseless and odourless instant heat

With its matt black aluminium housing and an almost invisible control panel, the heating device has an equally minimalistic and modern appearance – though in its inside it captivates with an impressively powerful heat output. Two heating levels (1,000 watts, 2,000 watts) that can be selected on the device or via remote control always supply the right amount of warmth – without any pre-heating time, disturbing noises or even unpleasant odours as are known from other heating solutions. The electrical radiant heat is generated by a high-quality infrared tube with a durable carbon fibre wire. With an average lifetime of up to 10,000 lighting hours, the IRS 2010 E heats far more economically than conventional gas radiant heaters with a comparable heat output. The programmable 24-hour timer allows to save additional power by switching the device off fully automatically after an operating time that can be set in increments of 1 hour.

90 % less light for more comfort

The red light component of the energy-efficient low-glare infrared tube, which is visible in heating operation, is just as slimline as the exceptional design of the IRS 2010 E. A special coating reduces the red light emission of the carbon heating tube by 90 percent, at a constantly high heat output. Terrace and balcony lighting already in use is not affected. Being the sole light source, the pedestal radiant heater creates a pleasant candlelight atmosphere with soft light and agreeable warmth.

Slimline warmth always at hand

The IRS 2010 E which is about 106 cm high and extremely slim can be used flexibly in different places, just as required. A handle integrated into the device housing makes it extremely easy to transport the device to where it is needed. Just install it in the desired place, plug the 1.95-metre mains cable into a socket – and immediately enjoy the especially pleasant infrared warmth on your skin.

IR 2005 – infrared radiant wall & ceiling heater

Radiant wall and ceiling heater in identical design

You like the stylish design of the pedestal radiant heater IRS 2010 E, but you’re looking for a radiant wall and ceiling heater? Then we have something for you: The IR 2005 is a perfect visual match for the pedestal radiant heater IRS 2010 E, but it can be mounted to the wall or the ceiling.

Discover the infrared radiant heater IR 2005

With the IR 2010 E, the open-air season can go into extra time

The modern infrared heating technology of the IRS 2010 E generates heat according to the natural principle of the sun. This is particularly energy-efficient, since a great deal of the energy input is converted directly into heat. The infrared radiant heater does not heat the ambient air, instead it is objects and persons in the immediate surroundings that absorb and store the evenly distributed warmth before they again release it to the environment in the form of secondary radiation. The heat is distributed by a fan that operates without raising dust, thus allowing even allergy sufferers and asthmatics to breathe freely in the immediate vicinity of the radiant heater — for long, cosy and carefree evenings outdoors!

Tested for safety: tilt protection switch and protective grid

To provide for a secure stand and to minimise the risk of tilting, the IRS 2010 E with its IP44 protection type is equipped with a perfectly balanced pedestal. In the unlikely event that the radiant heater at some point is close to toppling over despite its stable base, the integrated tilt protection switch with overheating protection immediately interrupts the power supply to the heating element. In addition, the closely meshed grille protects the infrared heating technology of the IRS 2010 E from curious children’s fingers and cheeky pets.

The heating device is delivered in partly assembled condition. Just unpack it, mount the pedestal in only a few steps using the hexagon wrench that is part of the scope of delivery, connect the 1.95-metre mains cable with a shockproof plug (CEE 7/7), and the slim design radiant heater will quickly provide warmth for an unlimited period of pleasant outdoor time.

The high-quality pedestal radiant heater is the ideal heat source for connoisseurs with a taste for stylish design and a love of fresh air. If you don’t want to compromise the heating and living comfort you’re accustomed to, even on the terrace or balcony, the IRS 2010 E will prove a flexibly applicable heating solution for you.

Design tip: If you’re in search of a radiant wall and ceiling heater that optically matches your mobile pedestal heater IRS 2010 E, we recommend using the IR 2005. Both infrared heaters show the same stylish design and are the perfect combination for your optically uniform terrace or balcony heating. The two heaters are also the perfect couple in the outdoor catering trade, creating a harmonious and appealing image in roofed outdoor areas.
