With the pedestal infrared heater IRS 1500 E you can extend your outdoor season on the terrace or balcony. Enjoy the fresh outdoor air even on somewhat chilly days or evenings – the IRS 1500 E provides for cosy warmth and discreet ambient lighting.
Its stylish aluminium housing of 110 cm height harmoniously integrates into modern outdoor areas. Without preheating the 1,500 W low-glare infrared tube radiates direct heat evenly in all directions over the entire length of the heating element.
If you position the radiant heater specifically just beside or in the midst of a seating area, the warmth will also spread beneath the table preventing cold feet.
Low-glare: 100 % heat output with 80 % light reduction
Compared to infrared radiant heaters the innovative low-glare short wave infrared tube reduces the light emission by up to 80 %. The heat output, however, is still 100 %. With the reduced light radiation a non-dazzling, comfortable candle-light atmosphere is generated in the vicinity. With an average lifetime of approx. 8,000 operating hours the low-glare infrared tube further ensures continuous, low-maintenance operation. For outdoor usage the IRS 1500 E comes with IP55 type of protection which makes it dust-, splash- and water-jet-proof.

The appropriate light colour for every mood
With the LED ambient lighting of the IRS 1500 E you can individually adapt the lighting atmosphere to your needs via the remote control. Relaxing, homely or fancy – whatever you feel like, choose the illumination that presents your surroundings in the proper light. You can choose from 16 colours and 4 light effects. Depending on the selected effect the light colours switch abruptly (Flash mode), pulsate (Strobe mode), fade out slowly (Fade mode) or slowly blend into each other (Smooth mode).
With the dimmer function the selected light colour can further be intensified or diminished for a great variety of settings. Particularly convenient: Both the heating and the lighting function can be used independently.
Direct heat following the natural principle of the sun
The high-quality low-glare short-wave infrared tube of the IRS 1500 E generates heat according to the natural principle of the sun. This is particularly energy-efficient, since a great deal of the energy input is converted directly into heat. The infrared radiant heater does not heat the ambient air, instead it is objects and persons in the immediate surroundings that absorb and store the warmth before they again release it to the environment in the form of secondary radiation.
The heat is distributed by a fan that operates noiselessly and without raising dust, thus allowing even allergy sufferers and asthmatics to breathe freely the immediate vicinity of the radiant heater.
The integrated tilt protection switch provides safety
Sometimes high-spirited and exuberant guests, animals or frolicking children can cause a bit of a turmoil. But should the free-standing radiant heater at some point be close to toppling over despite its stable base, the integrated tilt protection switch immediately interrupts the power supply to the heating element. Moreover, the protective grid prevents direct contact of the heater tube with movable objects, children's hands or pets' paws. This will give you the good feeling of being on the safe side at all times.

Optimum room temperature control with the socket thermostat BN30
Just install it in the socket and connect it to the heating or cooling device on the socket thermostat BN30, and you can have your heating or cooling unit automatically switched on and off by the BN30 depending on the temperature. The socket thermostat available as an accessory is individually adjustable within a temperature range from 5 °C to 30 °C.
Radio thermostat BN35 with timer switch for the socket
With the radio thermostat BN35 you can easily determine at which room temperature your heating or cooling unit will switch on or off using the remote control. The BN35 set consists of a radio-controlled socket and a radio thermostat. Simply plug the radio-controlled socket in between a wall outlet and your heating or cooling unit. Place the radio thermostat within approx. 20 metres in the place where the room temperature is to be measured. As an alternative, time-controlled regulation can also be carried out.
