On hot summer days, the elegantly white comfort device rapidly cools down heated rooms, provides soothing freshness or icy coldness on the skin and additionally humidifies the room air. Furthermore, the air is purified in the integrated air filter and, if desired, by on-demand ionization to eliminate unpleasant odours and pollutants, such as bacteria, from the room air. Natural evaporation cooling – without chemicals or exhaust air hoses

Unlike conventional air conditioners, the air cooler PAE 40 does not need any chemical cooling agents. Nor does the device require an unsightly exhaust air hose, which discharges the warm air to the outside in mobile air conditioners. Instead, the compact cooling giant makes use of the latent heat of natural evaporation of its ice or cold water filling to cool down the heated room air and blow it out into the room as fresh cold air via the fan. With its impressive air flow rate of 370 m³/h and a generous 10-litre water tank, the air cooler is recommended for use in rooms sized up to 36 m² or 90 m³.

Cooling and humidification with additional health protection

With the immediately noticeable cooling effect, the application possibilities of the modern air cooler are by no means exhausted. With the PAE 40 you can rely on permanent health protection against airborne viruses. The proliferation of viruses (for example flu viruses, coronaviruses, etc.) is strongly influenced by the humidity of the air. Optimally humidified room air has been proven to reduce the risk of infection in closed rooms and additionally keeps the nasal mucous membranes, which are important for the immune defence, moist. As a humidifier for year-round use, the PAE 40 impresses with a humidification performance of 1.1 l/h, which is enough to keep the room humidity level in different living and working spaces in the optimum range of 40–60 %.

With the air cooling and humidification function deactivated, the PAE 40 can be used as a fully-fledged fan. To distribute the cool air over a large area in the entire room or concentrate it on a specific point as desired, the discharge direction of the four-stage adjustable fan can be set via the front ventilation flaps either manually or using the automatic swing function. Thanks to the optional on-demand swing function with vertical oscillation of the inner fins, the discharge direction can be additionally controlled. The high degree of functionality of the PAE 40 is completed by a sleep-promoting night mode with noise-reduced ventilation and an easy-to-programme 15-hour timer for automatic device switch-off.

In contrast to air conditioners air coolers do not make use of any chemical cooling agents. The cooling effect is generated in a natural manner. Moreover, neither an exhaust air hose nor any elaborate installations are required.

A mobile air cooler works on the principle of natural evaporation cooling. As you probably know from your own experience, blowing on moist skin creates an instant feeling of refreshment as the evaporation process withdraws warmth. Air coolers work in the same way: in the interior of the air cooler there is a water-soaked filter mat. The warm air is directed from the rear of the device through the wet filter mat and in passing is cooled down due to the evaporation effect. The now colder air is then blown back into the room by the fan.

Tip for refreshment: The colder the water, the greater the cooling capacity. Placing the two ice packs included in the scope of delivery into the water tank will further increase the cooling capacity. This additional boost of freshness can also be achieved with ice cubes.

The clearly visible filling level indicator shows you at a glance whether the large 10-litre tank still contains enough water. When the water tank is empty, the water pump switches off automatically while the fan keeps running for air freshening. This is indicated by the LED of the air cooling function flashing. Another big plus is the water tank that can be cleaned quickly and easily.

Can be operated all year round – air cooler in the summer, humidifier in the winter

With the PAE 40 you can enjoy mobile feel-good climate throughout the year. We recommend using the slim air cooler in space-saving design throughout the year rather than parking it in a storeroom when the summer ends. In the spring and late summer its 4 fan stages can provide a fresh breeze so that you can enjoy the cooling effect of the cold evaporation.

In autumn and winter the device can be furthermore ideally used as an effective humidifier to create a more pleasant room climate. Since dry heated air can irritate the respiratory tract, dry out the skin and cause red eyes. Moreover, the multiplication of viruses within the room air is reduced at a humidity level of 50 %. By using a humidifier you provide for a sufficient humidity level and in this way can improve your own well-being in sticky, overheated rooms as well as prevent colds and virus infections.
