Naturally effective evaporation cooling that pays off

As an air cooler with innovative honeycomb technology, the PAE 19 H spreads a refreshingly cool air current in the room. Nature shows you how the active principle of this device works. Once a fresh breeze blows over damp skin, you immediately feel a pleasant cooling sensation. The cooling effect is caused by evaporation. The thermal energy required for this is withdrawn from the air, which causes the temperature to drop noticeably. This natural cooling principle is utilised by all air coolers of the PAE series with their cold water or ice water filling. Once the room air flows through the humid honeycomb filter, it is cooled down as thermal energy is withdrawn. Then the air is humidified with cold or ice-cold water, cleaned in the air filter and emitted into the room as a fresh air current. No chemicals, no power-consuming compressors and no disturbing exhaust air hoses are used in this process. The air cooler furthermore features a drying function to protect the honeycomb filter against mould formation when stored. Just press the "Fan speed" button for 3 seconds. The device will run for 20 minutes at the highest level and automatically switches to standby mode once drying has been completed.

An efficient air cooler with a high air flow rate and an economic fan heater with a practical temperature preselection function

With the PAE 19 H you can enjoy mobile feel-good temperatures and ideal climate conditions throughout the year. In the summer it serves as an air cooler and fan that creates freshness, and in winter it is a powerful fan heater and an effective humidifier. Its cooling function and heating capacity with two heating levels (1,400/2,000 watts) and its preselectable temperature ranges (22/29/36 °C) are equally powerful. The temperature is controlled in an energy-saving fashion by means of an integrated room thermostat. Upon reaching the target temperature the heating element switches off until another heating cycle is required. In this way, rooms that are rarely used or not connected to the central heating system (e.g. conservatories) can be supplied with warmth in an especially energy-efficient fashion. The fan heater is equally suitable for heating during the transitional seasons when the central heating is not switched on yet or has already been switched off.

Fresh breeze instead of thick air

If required, the air cooler can also be used as a mere fan with three speed levels for air freshening. In order to spread the pleasant air current in the room either to a targeted spot or across a large surface, the PAE 19 H is provided with manually adjustable ventilation flaps (external flaps) as well as a swing mode (oscillation) of the interior air outlet fins, which can be connected on demand in all operating modes. In the air freshening function (natural wind mode), an air flow based on a natural principle is generated by an increasing and decreasing ventilation intensity.

In contrast to air conditioners air coolers do not use any chemical refrigerants. The cooling effect is generated in a natural manner. Moreover, neither an exhaust air hose nor any elaborate installations are required.

A mobile air cooler works on the principle of natural evaporation cooling. You know this from your own experience: Blowing on moist skin creates an instant feeling of refreshment as the evaporation process withdraws warmth. Air coolers work in the same way: inside the air cooler, there is a filter mat soaked with water. The warm air is directed from the rear of the device through the wet filter mat and in passing is cooled down due to the evaporation effect. The now colder air is then blown back into the room by the fan.

Tip for refreshment: the colder the water, the greater the cooling capacity. Placing the ice pack included in the scope of delivery into the water tank will further increase the cooling capacity. This additional boost of freshness can also be achieved with ice cubes.

The clearly visible filling level indicator shows you at a glance whether the large and quick- and easy-to-clean water tank still contains enough water. If the water tank is empty or not sufficiently filled, the "air cooling" mode is switched off after 45 seconds. The device emits an acoustic warning signal to indicate that the water tank needs to be refilled. The practical clips to fix the water container can also be used to store the 1.80 m mains cable in a horizontal position.

Can be operated all year round – air cooler and fan in the summer, heater and humidifier in the winter

Moreover, the device can be ideally used as an effective humidifier in autumn and winter, in order to create a more pleasant room climate. Since dry heated air can irritate the respiratory tract, dry out the skin and cause red eyes. Moreover, the multiplication of viruses within the room air is reduced at a humidity level of 40 – 60 %. By using a humidifier you provide for a sufficient humidity level and in this way can improve your own well-being in sticky, overheated rooms as well as prevent colds and virus infections.
