The DH 15 is a cost-effective solution for fully automatic humidity control in small and unheated business rooms by means of hygrostat control. It further impresses with its extremely stable design and a professional hot gas automatic defrost system enabling the DH 15's operation to temperatures of approximately 5 °C.
Low in maintenance, yet highly effective – ideal for continuous operation
Consistently designed with a close focus on preserving values, this corrosion-protected construction made of powder-coated, galvanized sheet steel accommodates an industrial condenser dryer of maximum durability. Combined with its heat exchanger block that comes provided with protective coating it renders the professional dehumidifier DH 15 particularly resistant to environmental influences.
The combination of high efficiency level and low-maintenance design predestines the DH 15 for fully automatic, hygrostat-controlled permanent drying applications in numerous fields of application. Due to the autonomous recirculation operation the device can even be subsequently integrated in virtually any working environment.
An effective procedure for maximum profitability
The DH 15 automatically regulates the humidity to an ideal level at which corrosion, condensation and mould stand no chance. In recirculation operation this industrial dryer withdraws the major part of the humidity from the air in keeping with the target humidity level preselected via the hygrostat. A high level of efficiency is ensured by the smoothly running AC axial fan and the high-performance compression refrigeration system of the DH 15.
The dry air supplied to the room is simultaneously heated by the process with the result that the input of conventional heat and ventilation energy can be reduced.
In addition, the DH 15 comes equipped with an automatic hot gas defrost system operating based on the bypass procedure. To make sure the evaporator is protected from frost and kept clear of ice, a special solenoid valve opens briefly and redirects the hot refrigerant from the compressor directly to the evaporator (instead of to the condenser) via a bypass.
For this reason, the DH 15 requires only very short defrost phases – ideal for an effective dehumidification in low-temperature surroundings such as unheated rooms. Furthermore, it improves the performance level and thus increases the net overall equipment effectiveness of this dehumidifier.

Unless effectively controlled, humidity can lead to manifold problems for production processes, furniture and equipment or stored goods. An ideal humidity regulation does not just prevent rust, rot, material decomposition or a reduced quality in processing and storing goods, its also a reliable protection against mould growth. The air flow rate of the axial fan, designed for a long lifetime, driven by a robust AC motor and equipped with solid metal blades for continuous low-maintenance operations, is optimally geared to the dehumidification capacity of this heat exchanger block.
Owing to the horizontally conducted recirculation air flow and its compact design the ready-for-use DH 15 is particularly well suited for the assembly above doors.
The operating elements of this industrial dryer are tamper-proof and protected against unauthorized access, which makes it also an ideal dehumidifier for public buildings, changing and staff rooms or museums.
The sophisticated complete equipment of the DH 15 renders additional equipment options virtually obsolete. However, should you want to discharge the accumulating condensate to an elevated area, the device can also be supplied with an integrated condensate pump as order option. Furthermore, a kit for rear panel installation is available upon request.
