The industrial condenser dryer DH 310 which can also be supplied in a stainless steel housing is characterized by a high dehumidification capacity, reliable continuous operation properties and practice-oriented equipment options alike. Designed for the operation whilst positioned on the floor, the device – given on-site preparation – can also easily be used when mounted to the wall or ceiling. Also it can be connected to existing ducted air systems.
The dehumidifier DH 310 comes with a smoothly running scroll compressor for constant, pulsation-free pressure to ensure an energy-efficient refrigeration. Combined with its self-regulating EC radial fan this robust industrial dryer allows for a constantly high dehumidification performance during continuous operation even at low temperatures.
Simple installation and start-up
The DH 310 is an effective dry keeping solution which can be installed immediately without the need for additional construction measures. It can also be subsequently installed to assist existing air treatment systems. Simply set it up, connect it to the power supply and install the condensate discharge hose – all done.
Unlike competition models of the same class the DH 310 has a condensate pump integrated as standard. As a result, the condensate can easily be discharged – even to elevated areas.
In high-volume recirculation operation this industrial dryer withdraws the major part of the humidity from the air in keeping with the target humidity level preselected via the hygrostat. A high level of efficiency is ensured by the steplessly self-regulating EC double-flow radial fan and the high-performance compression refrigeration system of the DH 310.
The dry air supplied to the room is simultaneously heated by the process with the result that the input of conventional heat and ventilation energy can be substantially reduced. Owing to a coefficient of performance (COP) of 3 the DH 310 is able to generate 3 kW of heat output from every kilowatt used during dehumidification.
The professional hot gas defrost system of the DH 310 works with an automatically controlled cycle inversion. For this method the refrigerant circuit is briefly inverted via a four-way valve for the frost protection of the evaporator so that the as yet cold evaporator now becomes a hot condenser and the other way round. Compared to hot gas defrosting based on the bypass procedure the cycle inversion is a much faster defrost solution which improves the performance level and thus increases the net overall equipment effectiveness of this dehumidifier.
Diverse application possibilities
Unless effectively controlled, humidity can lead to manifold problems for production processes, furniture and equipment or stored goods. An ideal humidity regulation does not just prevent rust, rot, material decomposition or a reduced quality in processing and storing goods, its also a reliable protection against mould growth. The robust design, high dehumidification performance and simple installation render the DH 310 an effective all-rounder for various fields of application:
- Dry keeping of production facilities and storerooms with specific humidity requirements

Due to the galvanized, powder-coated steel construction even the standard version of the DH 310 is highly resistant to corrosion and environmental influences. Furthermore, it can be adjusted to meet special requirements:
- Stainless steel version
Ideal for the application in areas with special hygienic requirements or particularly reactive air environments. The AISI 316 stainless steel housing can easily be cleaned, it is especially resistant to various chemical solutions like sulphuric acid or iodides. Furthermore, AISI 316 has a very high corrosion resistance – especially with regard to chlorides.
- Heat exchanger with CDC coating
Ideal for the application in especially reactive air environments. Due to the cathodic dip coating (CDC) the coating of the heat exchangers is resistant to solvents and corrosion as well as to acids and alkalis.
- High-pressure fan
For a greater volumetric flow the fan is available with a static pressure increase (200 Pa), which enables longer air transport distances e.g. when connecting the device to existing ducted air systems.
- Defrosting below 0 °C
To lower the dew point in particularly cold environments such as cold stores the operating temperature range of the DH 310 can be enhanced to between -0.5 °C and +42 °C.
