LD6000 H2 Hydrogen Sensor for trace gas detection
For precise leak detection and tightness tests on sealing sheets, lines and containers
H2 hydrogen sensor - accessory for our LD6000
Using the optionally available hydrogen sensor LD6000 H2, the LD6000 is excellently suited for leak detection with 95/5 forming gas, which is composed of 95% nitrogen and 5% hydrogen.
Owing to its specific structure, hydrogen permeates almost all materials such as soil, concrete or tiles and can then be easily and precisely located on the surface using the hydrogen sensor connected to the LD6000.
The LD6000 indicates the exact concentration of hydrogen. Limit values can be freely adjusted and when exceeded, cause an acoustic and visual signal.
Forming gas of the type 95/5 is neither toxic nor combustible. Therefore, the application for leak detection even in sensitive surrounding areas is generally harmless.
Besides the compact hand sensor, an additional ground sensor with integrated suction pump is available for the detection of even the smallest of trace gas concentrations.
The ground sensor is especially suited for tightness tests or leak detection of green roofs, deep ground wires covered with soil and even asphalt covers etc.
Trace gas hydrogen:
Hydrogen serves as trace gas for leak detection, because it is the lightest of all gases.
Owing to its specific structure, hydrogen very quickly permeates all materials such as soil, concrete, tiles etc.
Upon emerging, the LD6000 H2 sensor registers the hydrogen, which e.g. in the usual 95/5 % forming gas is used as tracer gas for leakages, with a sensitivity level of 1 ppm.
The LD6000 H2 pump kit is as standard already integrated in the hydrogen ground sensor LD6000 H2 (art. no. 3.110.008.020), can however also be ordered individually in order to upgrade older LD6000 H2 ground sensors without integrated pump already in stock.
