Comfort dehumidifier TTK 120 E
Dehumidification performance of 30 l/24 h for convenient dehumidification and drying after water damage – suitable for private and commercial use
Dehumidifies, dries and removes water damage
The comfort dehumidifier TTK 120 E protects your precious belongings from the consequences of excessive humidity and eliminates water damage caused by heavy rainfall or burst water pipes. The automatic hot gas defrost system ensures optimum dehumidification results, even at low temperatures.
Protects health, valuables and building structure
Excess moisture in the room air is a danger to health, the building structure and everything of value. Room air that is too humid (> 60 percent) provides pathogens with an ideal environment to spread in the living space. Moreover, persistently high humidity levels favour mould growth and increase the risk of respiratory infection or illness. Treasures worthy of preservation, such as vintage cars in the garage or works of art, suffer just as much from excessive humidity as archived documents, books and paintings. The causes of an excessive room humidity level are often defects in the building's waterproofing, a lack of or incorrect ventilation as well as storms, floods or leaks in water-bearing lines.
Outstanding design – powerful dehumidification
Whether in private environments to keep the room humidity level in the feel-good range of 40 to 50 percent by use of a hygrostat, or for commercial use as a construction dryer to remove moisture damage in the shortest possible time in permanent operation – the visually appealing stainless steel dehumidifier TTK 120 E impresses in both worlds with its convenient features (e.g. the 24h timer and auto restart function as well as the control panel lock function), a large 8-litre condensation tank and an impressive dehumidification performance of 30 l/24 h at an air flow rate of 240 m³/h. In case of an unexpected switch-off due to a power interruption, the auto restart function (memory function) makes the device restart with the previously selected setting as soon as the power supply has been restored. Good to know: Even more performance is offered by the structurally identical TTK 122 E with a dehumidification performance of 40 l/24 h and an air flow rate of 240 m³/h.
For maximum user comfort, the control panel is equipped with easy-to-clean membrane keys and a digital display indicating the room temperature and humidity. The target humidity can be selected in increments of 5 percent. Moreover, a filling level warning light to indicate a full water tank, an overflow protection with automatic switch-off function and a reusable air filter, which is easy to clean, also belong to the standard equipment of the electronically defrostable TTK 120 E. In addition, the activated carbon filter removes unpleasant odours from the room air.
Gentle laundry drying with dehumidifiers
Apart from ambient air dehumidification, a dehumidifier can be conveniently used for drying laundry – either in an assisting way or as a full replacement for a conventional dryer. The laundry drying function (also referred to as clothes drying mode or SuperDry function) is comparable to traditional air drying outside.
Dehumidifiers offer the benefit of drying the laundry as gently as in the nature outside. Colours retain their brilliance and the life span of clothes is longer than with conventional dryers – and all this with a substantially lower power consumption.
Furthermore, even sensitive materials such as wool, silk or synthetic fibres can be dried without any problems. In contrast to pure air drying, the laundry feels much softer and more pleasant on your skin.
Laundry drying can also be performed with dehumidifiers without an additional laundry drying function. The target value of the air humidity must then be set in accordance with the desired residual humidity:
Cupboard dry: 46 % of relative air humidity
Iron dry: 58 % of relative air humidity
Skin dry: 65 % of relative air humidity
Investment protection for your drying devices
Particularly during construction drying operations in summer or when drying water damages, it is very likely that climate conditions arise which may significantly shorten the lifetime of condenser dryers – regardless of the make. We as manufacturer care about the fact that for process-related reasons your condenser dryers often have to be replaced much too soon, hence we have prepared a valuable practical recommendation relating to the investment protection of your drying devices. Did you know that every construction dryer is at the same time a commercial dehumidifier, but that not every commercial dehumidifier is automatically a real construction dryer? Here you can find out the reasons for this, and why hot gas defrosting makes the decisive difference ...
Propane (R290) as environmentally friendly refrigerant in dehumidifiers
Every year, several million tonnes of environmentally harmful CO2emissions (greenhouse gases) are emitted into the air by synthetic refrigerants. For this reason, the utilization of alternative refrigerants has become one of our key objectives. By using propane (R290) as refrigerant, this dehumidifier makes a valuable contribution to protecting our climate.
The natural refrigerant propane (R290) is an organic compound belonging to the group of hydrocarbons. Unlike synthetic refrigerants the environmentally friendly propane (R290) comes with neither ozone depletion potential (ODP = 0) nor a noteworthy greenhouse effect (GWP = 3).
Additional bonus for the environment: Owing to its excellent thermodynamic properties, propane (R290) is a particularly energy-efficient refrigerant thereby additionally reducing your energy costs.
Robust, well thought-out and proven – even for harsh conditions on construction sites
Thanks to its rust-proof stainless steel housing with bar handles on both sides and rubber-tyred easy-running wheels, the robust TTK 120 E withstands even the harshest of conditions at its place of use.
A dehumidifier for all occasions:
- Regulation of the room humidity in living spaces
- Humidity regulation in archives, libraries and art exhibitions
- Dry keeping of (vintage car) garages, basements and storage rooms
- Construction site drying and drying after water damage
Connection for external condensate drain
For applications where regular draining of the 8-litre water tank is either not possible or undesirable, e.g. for unattended permanent drying in garages, basement rooms, holiday homes or on boats, the TTK 120 E comes equipped with an integrated hose connection for direct discharge of the condensate into a drain. The hose required for this is already included in the standard scope of delivery.
Automatic hot gas defrosting for faster drying results
At low temperatures (below 12 °C), the integrated automatic hot gas defrost system ensures continued reliable dehumidification – without long defrost phases. In contrast to time-consuming air circulation defrosting used in normal condenser dryers, the TTK 120 E is defrosted by introducing hot gas into the evaporator. This helps to reduce the defrosting time considerably and to reach the drying target more quickly.
SuperDry function for accelerated drying of textiles
A convenient feature for quickly dehumidifying wet laundry, clothes or carpets is the special SuperDry function. This way, even large textiles that do not fit in the tumble dryer can be dried in a very short time.
With the comfort dehumidifier TTK 120 E you are perfectly equipped for almost all drying and dehumidification tasks in private and commercial surroundings – recommended for rooms sized up to 95 m² or 238 m³.

Save electricity and money on dehumidification
With our socket hygrostat BH30 you can additionally save money when dehumidifying damp rooms or keeping rooms dry. The programmable switch is simply plugged in between the dehumidifier and socket to regulate the dehumidification process based on the measured humidity level.
Once the desired target humidity is reached, the hygrostat disconnects the device from the mains until dehumidification is required again. By switching off the compressor and fan during standby times, the device's energy consumption is noticeably reduced.
The initial acquisition costs of the BH30 will have been amortized in a minimum of time.
Moreover, many dehumidifiers only offer rough target value setting for optimum humidity. The hygrostat BH30 allows the room humidity level to be adjusted in increments of 1 % from 20 % to 90 % and thus offers significantly more precise target humidity selection.
Auto restart function
In case of an unexpected switch-off due to a power interruption, the auto restart function (or “Memory function”) makes the device restart with the previously selected setting as soon as the power supply has been restored. This makes the dehumidifier also suitable for combined use with a timer.
Do you need dehumidification performance for even larger rooms?
Discover the structurally identical TTK 122 E. The robust dehumidifier offers a dehumidification performance of up to 40 litres per day and is perfectly suited for larger rooms sized up to 120 m² or 300 m³.
