Dehumidifying when filling and packing
TTR adsorption dryers are particularly easy to adjust
The humidity level during filling and packing in the chemical and pharmaceutical production must be precisely controlled. After all, the damage would be immense should hygroscopic products go lumpy, start to stick or their shelf life decrease. Using our adsorption dryers, process air conditioning is no problem.
Active agent powders, granules, dragées and pharmaceutical packaging have a major disadvantage: They attract humidity. It takes no time at all for an entire batch to go lumpy or sticky, when the humidity level is not kept constantly at the target value – which are often very low percentages of humidity. And especially when dealing with medicine, contamination through humidity can have disastrous consequences for the shelf life.
Adsorption dryers of the TTR series protect hygroscopic bulk material
In order to ensure process air conditioning during filling and packing, we often utilize adsorption dryers of the TTR series for our customers in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry. These dehumidifiers are available in numerous model variants for different requirements and with two separate air flow ducts (TTR Trisorp Dual principle of operation) characterized by an especially simple adjustability. Furthermore, with the internal heat recovery as well as the high level of resilience and performance of the special rotors they rank among the most economical adsorption dryers of their kind. The TTR series comprises both stationary and mobile adsorption dryers. You can recognize the stationary devices in the product overview by the 4-figure model numbers, the mobile devices bear 3-digit numbers.
Models marked with "D" as in the Duoventic air volume regulation
Both adsorption dryers of type "D", TTR 400 D and TTR 500 D, come as standard equipped with the innovative Duoventic air volume regulation. Therefore, both fans of the separate air circuits can be controlled independently via an infinitely variable electronic regulation. The specialists of our industrial service team will gladly find out, whether the "D" types are appropriate for the dehumidification of your filling or packing processes.
Drafting and test run: make use of our industrial services
For the chemical industry and pharmaceutical production the Trotec Group not only supplies devices for dehumidification related to hygroscopic bulk material and packaging. In consultation with you we also develop the dehumidification concept for your filling system or the packaging area. We further provide mobile dehumidifiers to test the concept beforehand in trial operation. Only after measurements have proved that the humidity level can be controlled as desired will your final solution be launched.
