The 360° rotating laser BD7A, which is battery-powered and can thus be directly used anywhere, quickly and easily supports your decoration projects and assembly work whenever high precision is crucial. At the push of a button, the device projects a 360° horizontal laser line allowing you, for instance, to hang up or mark wallpaper borders, wall tiles, coloured edges, wall cupboards on a straight line, or drill exactly placed dowel holes at a perfectly uniform height. Simultaneously on all four walls!
Always everything in perfect order – quick and correct alignment
Forget the time-consuming handling of a spirit level and do not waste any thoughts on the exact alignment of the device – leave all that to the rotating laser BD7A! The integrated laser is self-levelling and fully automatically compensates for unevenness of the ground of up to 3°. This self-alignment process only takes a few seconds and takes place immediately after the device is switched on. If self-levelling is not possible due to a larger unevenness or due to contamination, the laser will indicate this by a red LED as well as blinking laser lines.
If required, the BD7A additionally also projects a vertical laser line on the opposite wall, which is useful for aligning paintings or shelves on the rectangular laser cross or laying tiles at a precise pattern, for instance. Even oblique marking lines can be projected in a trice at a freely definable inclination angle. This even makes the otherwise tricky installation of a banister to be mounted in parallel to the stairs become mere child's play.
Optionally available: universal tripod for cross line laser, measuring devices and cameras
The universal telescopic tripod from Trotec, which can be ordered separately, has a commercially available 1/4" (6.35 mm) standard screw connection. This allows you to simply screw your cross line laser onto the tripod and position it optimally in the room. Simply extend the telescopic segment of the tripod to the desired height and fix it in place. The 3-legged construction guarantees secure footing. Furthermore, the universal tripod can also be used e.g. for photo and video cameras as well as a variety of measuring devices.
Multifunctional, practical and variably placeable
Three projection modes for almost every alignment task plus the multifunctional combi mount make the compact laser with its lightweight 280 g an indispensable precision tool for craftsmen and DIY enthusiasts.
The combi mount with universal clamp and suction cup supplied with the BD7A offers a large variety of fastening options on objects and surfaces. Whether it is mounted on glass, tiles, on a shelf or a ladder: The BD7A can be easily installed anywhere and, by means of its adjustable joint on the combi mount, can be aligned and inclined exactly in the way you need it for your work. The high-quality housing of the 360° laser is made of coated aluminium, preparing it ideally for its robust everyday practice.
With the ¼ inch thread in the base of the device, the rotating laser can also be fastened to customary tripods. Naturally, Trotec also offers you a stable universal telescopic tripod for the BD7A and many further applications.

The integrated lithium ion battery of the latest generation supplies the BD7A with enduring performance and maximum operating times. Even in daily applications with frequent partial discharging, the lithium ion battery guarantees a long lifetime without the memory effect known from conventional nickel-cadmium batteries.
Extremely practical: the BD7A is charged in no time via micro USB connection, a matching USB cable is included in the scope of delivery. Therefore, the rotating laser can also be charged in the car or via an external powerbank.
