Warmth and well-being under one umbrella
The IR 2005 SC infrared radiant heater got you covered: enjoy summer temperatures in your outdoor areas on cool days – on the balcony or terrace, or in outdoor hospitality venues. The cleverly designed 3-wing radiant heater was specially developed for an easy attachment under almost any sunshade or restaurant umbrella to supply seating groups in the garden, tables in outdoor catering areas or bar tables at outdoor events and trade fairs with pleasant all-round warmth – and without taking up additional space.
Minimum installation effort, maximum heat comfort
The well thought-out design of the IR 2005 SC is impressive in terms of aesthetics, functionality and safety. The parasol heater, made of weatherproof aluminium and protected against splash water according to protection class IP34 is mounted on the umbrella pole (suitable for Ø 2.5 cm – 6 cm) in just a few steps. Protective grids across the heating wings prevent direct contact of the umbrella lining with the heating elements. The non-slip fastening of the IR 2005 SC is carried out without any tools using a rotary knob locking screw. The infrared parasol heater can be flexibly fixed to the umbrella pole according to the desired height or position. Its visually appealing propeller design with heating arms that can be adjusted vertically up to 90° and which, in addition, can also be folded in and out steplessly, guarantees intensive 360° all-round warmth in all directions. The heating intensity of the three heating elements can be adjusted according to your individual needs. In the first heating stage (700 W) one heating arm switches on, in the second stage (1,300 W) two heating arms and in the third heating stage (2,000 W) all three arms. Depending on the number of people, you can selectively provide individual seats or entire seating areas under the parasol with pleasant warmth. The radiant heat always reaches the places in which it is really needed. This makes the parasol heater IR 2005 SC an extremely efficient heat source to sufficiently supply surfaces up to 15 m² with cosy infrared warmth.
Whether used for professional catering applications, in private surroundings or as a temporary heating solution in the event sector – the IR 2005 SC impresses as an economically attractive heating solution that enables you to enjoy the time outdoors throughout the year with pleasant warmth.

Warmth that is immediately perceptible on the skin
The pleasant heat radiation of the radiant heater is perceptible on the skin directly after the device is switched on. For adjustment of the heat intensity, the IR 2005 SC features three heating levels with 700 watts, 1,300 watts and 2,000 watts, respectively, adjustable by two toggle switches on the heating device. The warming infrared radiation is generated by a glare-free halogen heating element without affecting the ambient atmosphere.
Infrared heat: As pleasant and natural as the sun
The infrared heater IR 2005 SC heats its direct surroundings according to the natural principle of the sun. In contrast to devices with heating wires, the infrared rays of the IR 2005 SC do not heat the ambient air but exclusively the surfaces and persons which they reach. The objects illuminated (for example furniture, wall and ceilings) absorb the heat and store it to then slowly release it again. The objects therefore serve as additional energy and heat storage units – even when the device is switched off, additionally increasing the efficiency of the infrared heater IR 2005 SC. The heat radiation generates a pleasant feeling of warm sunrays in summer on the skin.
Everyone feels temperatures in a different way. Our individual heat sensation is for example influenced by the distance to the heat source. The smaller the distance to the radiant heater, the smaller the space illuminated – the greater the distance to the radiator, the larger the space illuminated. The infrared radiant heater IR 2005 SC with its powerful 2,000 watts is suitable for surfaces in outdoor areas of approx. 15 m². Please observe that the area to be heated should be sheltered from the wind, since the warming effect may otherwise be neutralized by the air flow.
As clean as nature – without any disturbing emissions
In particular allergy sufferers and people with a sensitive respiratory tract will pleasantly feel the beneficial effects of the infrared radiant heater and will no longer want to do without them. In contrast to electric heaters, the clean and condensation-free instant heat is generated without raising dust and without producing any disturbing noise or odours.
