Infrared thermometer as appSensor controlled via smartphone
The appSensor BP21WP is a pyrometer permitting non-contact, infrared surface temperature measurements when used in combination with the MultiMeasure Mobile app.
The equipment was designed for a universal range of applications and a convenient measured value determination. In addition to an optical resolution of 10:1 and a temperature measuring range between -30 °C and +250 °C the BP21WP also features a useful multi-point laser which automatically visualizes the size of the measuring spot. The preset degree of emission saves you the trouble of making manual adjustments and covers a wide variety of materials. The measuring device BP21WP is immediately ready for use, it can be connected to the app without the slightest effort and then displays all the measured values on the mobile terminal device.
Compared to pyrometers without app users of the BP21WP benefit from the clever combination of appSensor and appertaining, free MultiMeasure Mobile app with numerous additional advantages in terms of flexibility, analysis functions, data control and documentation otherwise only featured by way more expensive measuring devices. One option is the multi-coloured graphic representation of temperature curves or of the temperature distribution on a wall by means of a matrix measurement.
With MultiMeasure Mobile you can make use of further functions and analysis options: in addition to the indication of minimum, maximum and average values you can enter individual limit values – exceeding or falling below these thresholds automatically triggers an acoustic alarm.

Our recommendation: using appSensors cleverly combined. If you simultaneously connect the BP21WP and the thermohygrometer BC21WP to the MultiMeasure Mobile app, you can adopt the dew point determined with the BC21WP as alarm threshold for the pyrometer BP21WP so as to obtain the functionality of a dew point scanner. An acoustic alarm signal generated by the app will be emitted by the terminal device when the measured temperature values reach or fall below the dew point.
