Indirect (via storage medium) oil heater fans IDS 9500
Extremely powerful chimney oil heater for mobile heating on construction sites, in the agricultural sector, or in halls and workshops
Professional oil heater fan IDS 9500 for clean warmth on the spot
The most powerful oil heater model of the IDS series has been specially designed for heating individual halls or several rooms and is equipped with a highly efficient heat exchanger with turbulators and an especially powerful axial fan the seven-blade impeller of which ensures a high air flow rate and static pressure for a homogeneous diffusion of the warm air by the casing. By this combination, the IDS 9500 achieves a high thermal efficiency.
The compact carriage design consists of a robust steel frame with a double-walled housing for optimum soundproofing and insulation, making the device work in a pleasantly quiet fashion.
Easily accessible on the side of the burner housing, the IDS 9500 houses a digital control panel with electronic temperature controller, fan control, summer/winter selector switch for optional ventilation without heating function, a cold start function and operating control lamps.
In order to maximise its versatility, the oil heater fan IDS 9500 is delivered without an integrated fuel tank, which is why the fuel must be fed to the Riello oil burner via an external oil tank and then tempered using the standard oil preheater.
The external tank required for automatic continuous heating can be easily connected to the one-pipe heating system of the IDS 9500 using a quick coupling. Alternatively, an optional pedestal oil tank with a capacity of 150 litres is also available as an accessory part for the IDS 9500.
IDS indirect oil heater fans – maximum heating power, clean warmth
The indirect oil heater fans of the IDS series are ideally suited for rooms in which ventilation is only possible to a certain extent, but which are still used by people or animals. They are also a good choice for speeding up construction drying as well as in rooms where there is a fire hazard due to combustible substances.
While, in principle, the combustion process is identical to that of the IDS direct oil heater fans – the fuel is drawn from the tank by means of a pump, brought to operating pressure and in a final step is sprayed into the combustion chamber via an atomiser nozzle as an air-fuel mixture, where it is then burnt – the air to be heated is fully isolated from the combustion chamber in indirect heaters.
Although with indirect oil heater fans the air provided for heating is drawn by the same blower as the combustion air, it is yet guided separately past the increased surface of the combustion chamber, the heat exchanger, so as to be able to heat up there without being mixed with the flue gas in this process. Whereas the combustion products are discharged to the outside via a chimney, 100 % emission-free warm air is spreads through the outlet opening of the indirect oil heater fan.
Thus, in order to obtain both clean and dry warmth, we recommend using an indirect oil heater fan. In contrast to direct heaters, in this case neither combustion products nor released water vapour enters the room air if a suitable flue gas evacuation has been mounted on the device’s chimney, leading the flue gases outside of the room to be heated.
The IDS 9500 offers a wide range of applications
The combination of mobile carriage design and a maximum heating capacity of 225 kW makes the indirect oil heater fan IDS 9500 a versatile heating solution for a large variety of applications, for instance:
- Spot heating of outdoor workstations and on construction sites in winter
- Heating of stables
- Heating of workshops, storage facilities, craft workshops, storage rooms
- Heating and ventilation of tent and trade-show events
- Keeping greenhouses warm
For interior heating, the flue gas of the oil heater can be discharged from the room by mounting a flue gas pipe on the chimney of the IDS 9500, which is then lead outside. If required, the combustion air can also be supplied to the burner from the outside by installing a piping on the combustion air inlet towards the outside, ensuring that fresh air is drawn in and the oxygen content in the room is not reduced.
Instead of large-volume air heating, the oil heater fan IDS 9500 furthermore also allows for spot heating via hot air hose at the integrated hose connector. In addition, a two-way hose distributor for simultaneous spot heating of two workplaces is available as accessory part, just as a four-way hose adapter for simultaneous spot heating of four workplaces.
Special equipment features of the IDS 9500
- A highly efficient heat exchanger with turbulators ensures both clean and dry heat with maximum efficiency
- TTSL® interface for remote monitoring and documentation of any changes in the status of the IDS 9500 using the optional TTSL® system
- Easy-to-transport carriage version with comfort handle and large, robust wheels
- Four integrated crane hooks allow for quick installation and easy transport
- Powerful and quiet axial fan with 250 Pa air pressure
- Unique "cold start button" for very cold environments
- Lockable steel cover box in IP55 design to protect the burner and filter
- Simple connection option to an external fuel tank
- Two oil filters: oil pump filter and suction filter
- Possibility of attaching a rain cover (or exhaust gas pipe) to the stainless steel chimney
- Option for hot air hose connection (optionally also two or four hoses with two-way or four-way distributor)
- Integrated cable holder for safe attachment of the connection cable during transport
- Optional additional chimney bracket on top of the device
- Air recycling option: Instead of having to continuously heat cold fresh air from outside to the required degree of heat, which requires an excessive energy input and entails high costs, warm regeneration air from inside the room can be added to some extent using the optional regeneration air adapter. This increases efficiency and reduces costs.
