Every year, several million tonnes of environmentally harmful CO₂emissions (greenhouse gases) are emitted into the air by synthetic refrigerants. For this reason, the utilization of alternative refrigerants has become one of our key objectives. By using propane (R290) as refrigerant, this dehumidifier makes a valuable contribution to protecting our climate.

The natural refrigerant propane (R290) is an organic compound belonging to the group of hydrocarbons. Unlike synthetic refrigerants the environmentally friendly propane (R290) comes with neither ozone depletion potential (ODP = 0) nor a noteworthy greenhouse effect (GWP = 3).

The central equipment features of the TTK 175 S at a glance

The TTK 175 S ensures automatically that the target value entry is kept constant. When this value is exceeded, the device switches off automatically and also switches on again automatically when the value falls below the target entry. The target value preselection is between 50 % and 90 %, depending on the air humidity value in the room which is to be reached.

The TTK 175 S comes with function for automatic defrosting. When the room temperature is below 11 °C, the evaporator would freeze during dehumidification. This is why the TTK 175 S carries out fully automatic self-defrosting, if required.

The TTK 175 S has a memory function. Thanks to this, the device restarts after an unexpected shutdown due to a power interruption with the preselected setting as soon as the power supply is available again.

In order to continuously drain the condensation water, a pipe can be connected on the rear of the device. This is especially suitable for cellar or storage spaces which are subjected to mould formation by excess humidity.

The TTK 175 S commercial dehumidifier ensures an optimal room climate, e.g. B. in warehouses, through its hygrostat-controlled automatic operation. The target can be set using a rotary switch from a minimum value to a maximum value.

Suitable for all TTK-S models, a plug-in condensate pump is also optionally available, which can be installed very easily instead of the collection container and allows for automatic condensate discharge via the 5-m drain hose supplied. Fan assistance

Quicker construction drying by air circulation

The drying time can be reduced by half if construction dryers and fans are combined. In doing this, each dryer is supplemented with a fan, which significantly improves the drying performance and thus also the duration of the drying process.

The increased air circulation results in a quicker evaporation of the humidity, for the higher the flow rate at the material surface, the sooner will the drying process be completed.
The axial fans of the TTV series and TTV-S series are especially suitable to provide assistance with regard to the drying process.
