This cooling load calculation should be seen as a rough guide – it is not a substitute for an exact calculation in accordance with existing norms. The following items must be included in order to be able to determine the required air conditioning performance:

  1. What is the total volume of the room to be climatised?
  2. What is the approximate insulation value of the room to be climatised?
  3. What additional heat load does the room to be climatised have?
