IRS 2010 Design radiant heater
Height-adjustable 2,000-watt stainless steel floor-standing radiant heater with integrated LED spots, remote control and weatherproof protection according to IP55
Pleasant warmth and soft light outdoors
The elegant design of the IRS 2010 floor-standing radiant heater for quick heating of private and commercial outdoor areas is impressive in terms of features, comfort and design. Whether for balconies, terraces, loggias, sales and trade fair stands, or even guest areas in professional outdoor catering or hotels - with its two-stage infrared heat (1,000 W, 2,000 W), this radiant heater, which also stands out visually from the crowd, heats up covered and uncovered outdoor areas quite nicely. In the first heating stage with 1,000 W, one or the other heating element can be controlled by remote control, depending on which side is to be provided with pleasant warmth. In the second heating stage with 2,000 watts, both heating elements provide intensive comfort heat. Without long preheating, because the heat is generated immediately after switching on via the remote control or the mains switch. The height of the tilt-resistant floor-standing radiant heater can be adjusted between 180 and 220 cm via a practical twist lock. Two LED spotlights can be switched on if required to flood the surroundings with atmospheric light in addition to the heat. This saves additional illumination concepts and makes the IRS 2010 even more flexible in use.
Elegant design for more hospitality and commercial sales
The IRS 2010 radiant heater with IP55 protection against splashes and water jets combines everything that catering professionals expect from an economical and safe heating solution for outdoor catering. A close-meshed grid protects the two high-quality halogen infrared tubes (approx. 5,000 hours of illumination) from curious children's fingers and accidental contact. If, despite its stable base, the heater should ever start to wobble, an integrated anti-tip device switches it off immediately.
The housing of the pleasantly energy-efficient radiant heater is made of silver-coloured aluminium with black accents on the sides. A three-part telescopic pole with a solid stand, both made of high-quality, matt stainless steel, gives the IRS 2010 a secure footing on all surfaces. With its modern design, easy operation (via remote control or mains switch) and a heat output that can be selected in two stages, the IRS 2010 is recommended for heating covered and uncovered outdoor areas of restaurants, cafés, bars, food trucks or events. This way, the outdoor season starts earlier and ensures a noticeable increase in turnover for longer.
Targeted heat along the entire length
The downward radiated infrared heat of the 69 cm wide IRS 2010 heats targeted areas of up to 15 m². Unlike conventional convectors, the IRS 2010 does not heat the ambient air first, which would be extremely inefficient, especially outdoors. The particularly pleasant infrared heat is immediately absorbed and stored by the skin. Thanks to this operating principle, the IRS 2010 heats noticeably more intensively and more energy-efficiently than other heating technologies - and without creating unpleasant odours or noises.
Rainproof stainless steel design guarantees safe heat: protection class IP55
Rain showers or dust clouds cannot harm the robust radiant heater, because the high-quality aluminium housing is protected against water jets and the penetration of dust from all sides according to protection class IP55. The high-quality telescopic rod and the stable base are made of robust stainless steel. This makes the IRS 2010 predestined for use in covered and uncovered outdoor areas. Especially for professional use in the catering industry, the weatherproof housing is a real asset.
Direct heat according to the principle of the sun
The halogen heating tubes of the IRS 2010 generate heat according to the natural principle of solar radiation. And they do so in a particularly energy-efficient way, because a large part of the energy used is converted into direct heat. It is not the ambient air that is heated, but objects and people in the direct vicinity of the infrared radiator that absorb the radiant heat, store it and also emit it back into the environment as secondary radiation. The heat is distributed silently and without dust being stirred up by a fan, which means that even asthmatics and allergy sufferers can breathe freely in the direct vicinity of the radiant heater.
Summer temperatures, always and everywhere
With the IRS 2010 floor-standing radiant heater, you are opting for visible and noticeable professional quality. The immediate heat development makes the IRS 2010 the optimal heat source for balconies and terraces, conservatories, catering areas, workshops, garages and comparable open/semi-open areas.
The 2,000 W IRS 2010 design radiant heater impresses with its high-quality design and provides comparatively inexpensive instant heat - with additional ambient light if required. The infrared heat is generated immediately after you switch on the unit. An all-round pleasant feel-good ambience with targeted heat and LED lighting outdoors. The IRS 2010 makes it possible!
Set up, switch on, and done!
The IRS 2010 design floor-standing radiant heater is assembled and ready for use in no time at all. The individual elements (heating element, telescopic tube and stand) are connected without tools. Power is supplied via a 1.75 m long power cable with a Schuko plug (CEE 7/7) for European sockets.
Design tip: If you are looking for a visually matching ceiling-mounted radiant heater to go with your IRS 2010 mobile floor heater, we recommend the IR 2000 C model. Both infrared heaters have the same stylish design and are the perfect combination for your visually uniform patio or balcony heating. The two heaters are also the perfect pair for the catering trade to create a coherent and appealing image in covered and uncovered outdoor areas.
