TTK 125 S Dehumidifier
"Nobody can offer as many litres at this weight"
Small on the outside - big on the inside: Power pack TTK 125 S
The TTK 125 S combines advanced detailed solutions for powerful drying applications with a weight-optimised construction in a practice-oriented German industrial design, which is protected as a registered trademark.
The convincing external design is perfectly matched by its internal values: All electrical components are fully encapsulated and thus protect the electronics from harmful deposits that could impair their function and longevity. Therefore, the TTK 125 S is also optimally suited for drying under adverse conditions.
The convincing external design is perfectly matched by its internal values: All electrical components are fully encapsulated and thus protect the electronics from harmful deposits that could impair their function and longevity. Therefore, the TTK 125 S is also optimally suited for drying under adverse conditions.
Due to its extremely low-maintenance construction, the TTK 125 S is easy to clean and, thanks to its lightweight design and smart mobility features, it is just as easy to transport. Nevertheless, in terms of dehumidification capacity, it is anything but a lightweight:
Compared to cheaper reciprocating compressors, the high-quality 0.58 kW rotary compressor of the TTK 125 S offers the advantage of higher performance with comparatively lower power consumption - and additionally creates reserves for high dehumidification performance even in unheated rooms.
In addition, compared with other defrost systems, the high-quality hot gas automatic defrost of the TTK 125 S guarantees a much more efficient dehumidification performance without pausing on a time interval during which no dehumidification occurs!
Propane (R290) as an environmentally friendly refrigerant in dehumidifiers
Every year, several million tonnes of environmentally harmful CO2 emissions (greenhouse gases) are released into the air by synthetic refrigerants. Therefore, the use of alternative refrigerants is one of our most important goals. By using propane (R290) as a refrigerant, this dehumidifier makes a valuable contribution to climate protection.
The natural refrigerant propane (R290) is an organic compound and belongs to the hydrocarbons. Unlike synthetic refrigerants, environmentally friendly propane (R290) has neither ozone depletion potential (ODP=0) nor a significant greenhouse effect (GWP=3).
Additional plus for the environment: Due to its excellent thermodynamic properties, propane (R290) is a particularly energy-efficient refrigerant and thus additionally reduces your energy costs.
Drying champion in terms of power-to-weight ratio
This innovative condenser dryer can dehumidify impressive 32 litres within 24 hours. Astounding for a robust and compact package which only weighs 26 kilograms.
In practice, the TTK 125 S seems much lighter than that, because its robust Trotec ergonomic recessed handles with an inner Grip-Clip provide an optimal hold while carrying. With its four sturdy swivel casters with wheel locks, tight construction sites are no problem.
Even in storage, the TTK 125 S makes a good impression – because it only needs surprisingly little space. Due to its two practical stacking grooves on top, equally sized TTK-S devices can be safely stacked to save space during transport and storage.
As with all commercial dehumidifiers of the TTK-S series, the TTK 125 S has a built in operating hours counter which records the precise duration of work accurately and reliably. A dual counter for additional detection of power consumption is optionally available.
For the TTK 125 S, a powerful condensate pump for permanent drying with a pumping capacity of up to 50 m distance and a maximum delivery height of 4 m is optionally available. In this way, permanent condensate removal can also be carried out across floors.
Benefits in practice:
- Development, design, production: 100 % Trotec
- High dehumidification performance even at low temperatures
- Maximum dust and dampness protection for all electrical components
- Very easy to maintain construction
- Optimal handling
- Portable and easily stored anywhere thanks to its rotary compressor
- Practical stacking groove for stable, space-saving storage and transport
- Stackable with equally dimensioned models
- Tried and tested German industrial design – protected prototype
Active value retention through integrated compressor heat protection with automatic switch-off.
In drying applications with extremely high humidity and in high temperatures - for example in water damage restoration - refrigeration dryers quickly reach their red capacity range. The catchy "35 rule" applies here: drying water damage above 35 degrees reduces the dryer service life to below 35 %!
However, this is not a question of component quality, but pure physics that applies to all refrigeration dryers on the market, regardless of the manufacturer.
While most professional condensation dryers can still operate without problems up to 35 °C at moderate humidity levels of around 70 % RH, very high humidity levels combined with high room temperatures result in significantly more energy being supplied to the humid room air, which must additionally be "worked off" via the refrigerant.
As a result, the pressure of the refrigerant in the system increases immensely, which leads to a destructive load on the compressor.
The dehumidifiers will initially continue to operate, but well above their limit "deep in the dark red range", resulting in an extremely shortened remaining service life.
Nevertheless, there is no way around the use of a condensation dryer for such drying tasks, because adsorption dehumidifiers consume considerably more energy here with the same drying performance and are therefore not a sensible alternative, especially from an economic point of view.
That is why the commercial dehumidifiers of the TTK-S series have integrated compressor heat protection to actively preserve the value of your appliances:
Sensors permanently monitor the heat load of the compressor. If the temperature is within the defined operating range, the integrated heat protection indicator pulses in a long sequence, indicating optimum operation of the dehumidifier.
As soon as the temperature exceeds the critical limit of 35 °C, the automatic system switches the compressor off for its protection while the fan continues to operate and automatically activates the compressor again as soon as the temperature falls below the 35° limit again.
This protection not only significantly extends the life of the dehumidifiers, it also prevents thermal damage to materials in the room and the building structure during their use.
