The powerful AirgoClean® air cleaner is available in two designs and colours. The classically white 170E with a highly efficient HEPA filter system of protection class E12 including DACRON® prefilter and carbon filter frees the room air from 99.7% of pathogenic suspended matter and viruses.
The black air cleaner AirgoClean® 171E meets maximum safety requirements with an even more efficient HEPA carbon filter technology (can be reordered as an accessory for the 170E), which means that up to 99.97% of all airborne pollutants with a particle size of up to 0,3 micrometers can be reliably filtered out of the room air. The cylindrical device design with 360° air inlet enables flexible installation at almost any location. Aerodynamically shaped air guide blades at the air outlet guarantee an optimal air distribution of the cleaned air. The spiral-shaped slats are not only an attractive design accent, but also force the turbulence and thus the distribution of clean air throughout the room. A three-stage PM2.5 colour display informs you in real time about the air quality of the room air around you. The comfort features of the AirgoClean® 171E are rounded off by a turbo mode for accelerated ventilation of the room, which promises particularly quick and effective cleaning of the indoor air in acute situations. In addition, the comfort air purifier has a night mode with whisper-quiet fan operation and a filter change indicator in the dimmable LED digital display.

The three-stage air quality display of the AirgoClean® 171E makes the otherwise invisible air quality visible. In addition to the numerical display of the PM 2.5 value (number of fine dust particles <2.5 µm), an optical display with coloured LED lights indicates the purity of the ambient air:

What does the PM2.5 value mean?
PM2.5 is respirable fine dust particles with a diameter of less than 2.5 µm. Due to their small size, these fine particles are considered a health risk as they penetrate deeper into the respiratory tract, the cardiovascular system and the brain, remain there and cause damage. In the REVIHAAP project, the WHO comes to the conclusion that fine dust can, among other things, lead to arteriosclerosis, impair births and cause respiratory diseases in children.

Note: With the maximum room size, the device runs on the highest fan speed! In order to be able to achieve an optimal combination of maximum air pollution control and minimal background noise, we therefore recommend that you dimension the room size to approx. 30% smaller than the maximum possible when planning your deployment. In this way, the device can also ensure filtering on a quieter fan level.
Automatic mode and virus filtering:
Do not use the automatic mode if the device is used for virus filtering. The built-in sensors only react to air pollution from fine dust, pollen or VOC. The device cannot determine the virus load. It is possible that the automatic mode shows a "good" air quality, although the virus load in the room is very high. Therefore, when filtering viruses to reduce the indirect risk of infection, we recommend that you always set the fan speed that is required in the respective requirements for the circulation rate (air volume).
Intelligently controlled air cleaning in fully automatic mode
In addition to the manual control of the air cleaning performance in 5 levels, the AirgoClean® 171E has a smart "Air Quality Sensor" to react in real time to a change in the indoor air quality. The highly sensitive air quality sensor continuously measures the particle load and recognizes even the smallest changes immediately - in order to then react immediately with an adapted air purification. The air and filter performance of the device is regulated fully automatically to the extent necessary to remove the suspended particles from the room air in the shortest possible time.
Aerodynamically shaped air outlet fins
The aerodynamically shaped discharge lamellas of the AirgoClean® 171E ensure efficient fresh air distribution in the interior, which leads to a comfortable and draft-free air exchange. While conventional air purifiers only blow the filtered air out vertically into the room, the AirgoClean® 171E distributes the clean, pure air evenly in all directions of the room. Thanks to the horizontally rotated slats, clean air flows through the surrounding air over a large area.
Turbo mode
The turbo mode is used in particular for accelerated ventilation of the room, where, for example, particularly quick and effective cleaning of the indoor air is required in acute situations. The air is quickly cleaned to an optimal level by the highest fan speed. This means that the air in meeting, break or lounge rooms can be cleaned to a good quality level quickly and easily. Allergy sufferers who open the window to ventilate have filtered pollen or dust out of the air within minutes. In the turbo mode of the AirgoClean® 171E, airborne pollutants and suspended matter are removed from the room air with the highest air purification performance through the highest ventilation level and these are cleaned to an optimal level.
Almost noiseless operation in night mode
The night mode with dimmed lighting enables cleanly filtered room air even during sleep. The air flow is automatically adapted to the need for sleep and the air output is regulated to the lowest ventilation level.

DACRON®-Pre-filter
DACRON® is a name for synthetically produced continuous filaments made of polyester which, thanks to their particularly allergy-neutral properties, are ideally suited as pre-filters in air purification. The synthetic fiber prefilters made with it are particularly tear-resistant, durable and water-repellent. The synthetic fiber filter already reliably filters light to medium odors, coarse house dust and animal hair from the room air.
Carbon filter
The additional carbon filter made of carbon is ideal for all smokers. In addition to pollutants, this activated carbon filter effectively neutralizes tobacco odours, pet odours, kitchen odours, smoke odours as well as formaldehyde and solvent odours from the ambient air. For clean air - without unpleasant smells.
HEPA-Filter (up to 99,97 %* less air pollutants)
In the highly efficient HEPA filters of the AirgoClean® air purifiers 170E and 171E, pollen, allergens, fine dust particles, bacteria, viruses, dust mite residues and mold spores up to a size of 0.3 micrometers are eliminated.
