Naturally effective evaporative cooling that pays off
You know the energy-efficient honeycomb cooling technology of the
Aircooler PAE 80 from nature. When a fresh breeze blows over damp skin,
you immediately feel a pleasant cooling. This cooling effect is created
by evaporation. The heat energy required for this is extracted from the
room air, which noticeably reduces the temperature. This natural cooling
principle is used by all air coolers of the PAE series with their cold
water or ice water filling. As soon as the room air flows through the
moist honeycomb filter, it is cooled by the extraction of heat energy,
moistened with cold or ice water, cleaned of annoying lint or animal
hair in the air filter and expelled into the room as an icy, fresh air
stream. Without the use of chemicals, without power-hungry cooling
compressors and without annoying exhaust air hoses.
The hotter the summer, the more intensive the cooling effect
In contrast to air conditioning units with cooling compressors, which at some point reach their performance limits when the temperature is high, the cooling capacity of the PAE 80 even increases with increasing temperatures. The warmer it is in the room, the faster the water evaporates in the honeycomb filter and the more heat of evaporation is extracted from the air. You can therefore always rely on the cooling capacity of the air cooler to keep up with the outside temperatures.
An unbeatable team: available in two colors and performance classes
With a full air throughput of 1,000 m³/h and a generous 60 liter water
tank, the PAE 80 air cooler is recommended for use in rooms up to 80 m²
or 200 m³. In smaller rooms of up to 72 m² or 180 m³, the air coolers
PAE 60 and PAE 61 with an air throughput of 900 m³/h provide a breath of
fresh air
Three times better feel-good climate: cools, refreshes and moisturises
The combined air improvement through cooling, air purification and
humidification guarantees an optimally balanced living space climate. In
addition, the PAE 80 strengthens the body's own immune system.
Infectious viruses such as flu viruses and SARS-CoV-2 sometimes float in
the room for several hours in dry heating air. In addition, there are
dried out nasal mucous membranes, which actually have the task of
fending off pathogens. Viruses fall to the ground faster in optimally
humidified air (40 to 60 percent), and the cleaning performance of the
nasal mucous membrane is improved. As a mobile humidifier, the PAE 80
convinces all year round with its powerful humidification performance of
2.8 l/h to keep the humidity permanently in a healthy range. If
necessary, the Aircooler can also be used as a fan all year round
without the air cooling and humidification function. In order to
distribute the refreshing air flow - depending on the application - in a
targeted manner or over a large area throughout the room, the cooling
device has a switchable 120° swing mode of the inner vertical air outlet
slats for large-area cold air distribution. The outer horizontal slats
can be positioned manually according to your needs.
Integrated fixed water connection for continuous commercial use
Whether for cooling or for air humidification - the integrated fixed
water connection of the air cooler PAE 60 is particularly practical for
continuous commercial use. The professional air cooler can be connected
to the water pipe with a standard hose. This means that it can run
continuously without having to refill the tank in between. The water
supply via the hose is regulated fully automatically by a float switch
included in the scope of delivery. The float switch and hose are child's
play to assemble, without tools or an installer.
Turns everything upside down so far: big in cooling, small in the box
The PAE 80 shows true size in the smallest of spaces when it comes to
storage and transport. The upper part of the device can be detached in
just two steps and lowered upside down in the lower water tank. This
reduces the device height to a cabinet-friendly 70.5 cm. The
ergonomically shaped recessed grips, with which the air cooler can be
easily carried from one room to the other, are just as practical.
Set for comfort: 15-hour timer for switching on and off automatically
The programmable timer is twice as useful to switch the air cooler on or
off fully automatically after an individually preset time. This saves
unnecessary electricity costs and you never have to worry again about
whether you have actually switched the device on or off. The operating
time until automatic switch-on or switch-off can be set in 1-hour steps
from 1 to 15 hours. The timer at the workplace is practical, so that the
office is cooled down to a pleasant temperature as soon as work starts.
The timer is also helpful when the air cooler unfolds its beneficial
effect in the bedroom. The cool sea breeze from the air cooler lets you
slip to sleep without sweating, after which the device switches itself
off until the next morning to save energy.

Naturally effective cooling principle
In contrast to air conditioning units, no chemical refrigerants are
used in air coolers. The cooling process takes place in a completely
natural way. In addition, neither an exhaust air hose is required, nor
are complex installations required.
A mobile air cooler works on the principle of natural evaporative cooling. You know this from your own experience: When you blow on damp skin, you feel an immediate cooling, as the evaporation process draws heat away. It is the same with air coolers or air coolers: Inside the air cooler there is a filter mat soaked with water. The warm air is directed from the back of the device through the wet filter mat and cools down through evaporation. The now cooler air is then blown into the room by a fan.
Refreshment tip: the colder the water, the greater the cooling capacity. If you put
the four cooling packs included in the scope of delivery into the water
tank, the cooling performance can be increased even further. This
additional freshness kick can also be achieved with ice cubes.
With
the clearly visible level indicator, you can see at a glance whether
there is still enough water in the large 60-liter tank, which is quick
and easy to clean. When the water tank is empty, the water pump switches
off automatically, while the fan continues to run to freshen up the
air. The device signals by lighting up an LED and an acoustic signal
that the water tank needs to be refilled. There are 3 different ways to
fill it easily and conveniently.

Increasing humidity to 50 % reduces the risk of virus transmission
Specialists have evaluated research results on the resistance of
viruses (e.g. SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV or SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19), influenza)
and humidity. It turned out that the air humidity has serious effects on
the infectivity of germ droplets. Dry room air with a relative humidity
of less than 40% allows tiny droplets that are contaminated with flu or
cold viruses to dry out. In this way, pathogens are preserved and
remain infectious for a very long time. In the optimal range of 40 to
60% relative humidity, aerosols only shrink to such an extent that the
salt concentration in the aerosol core increases, so that the germs and
microorganisms contained therein are killed. The risk of catching flu
and cold viruses is minimized here.
