Professional oil heater fan IDS 45 for clean warmth on the spot
This chimney oil heater is suited for the quick and uncomplicated heating of storage facilities, workshops, construction sites, greenhouses or stables. Thanks to the integrated oil burner with Danfoss® pump it operates economically and effectively in every heating application. And the carriage with its robust design allows for a quick change of location by one person only.
Safety is the top priority of the oil heater fan manufactured in Europe. The housing is double-walled and with its protective coating provides an optimum soundproofing while simultaneously minimizing the surface temperature of the outer casing and thus the risk of injuries for the user. The IDS 45 is further equipped with an electronic flame trap, safety thermostat for overheating protection, fully automatic after-cooling and a high-temperature resistant heat exchanger.
For longer heating applications the heater, in addition to the integrated fuel container, can also be connected to an external oil tank. Of course, a hose connector and thus an air hose of 7.6 metres length can also be attached to this model as well as a two-way hose distributor for the connection of two hoses.
The IDS 45 is an absolutely reliable oil heater fan, it only requires minimum maintenance and gets you healthy through the winter even at cold workstations. With an air flow rate of 2,500 m³/h it has a rated heat output of 52.5 kW.
IDS indirect oil heater fans – maximum heating power, clean warmth
The indirect oil heater fans of the IDS series are ideally suited for rooms in which ventilation is only possible to a certain extent, but which are still used by people or animals. They are also a good choice for speeding up construction drying as well as in rooms where there is a fire hazard due to combustible substances.
In principle, the combustion process is identical to that of the IDS direct oil heater fans: The fuel is drawn from the tank by means of a pump, brought to operating pressure and in a final step is sprayed into the combustion chamber via an atomiser nozzle as an air-fuel mixture, where it is then burnt. In the case of indirect heaters, however, the air to be heated is fully isolated from the combustion chamber.
Although with indirect oil heater fans the air provided for heating is drawn by the same blower as the combustion air, it is yet guided separately past the increased surface of the combustion chamber, the heat exchanger, so as to be able to heat up there without being mixed with the flue gas in this process. Whereas the combustion products are discharged to the outside via a chimney, 100 % emission-free warm air is spreads through the outlet opening of the indirect oil heater fan.
Thus, in order to obtain both clean and dry warmth, we recommend using an indirect oil heater fan. In contrast to direct heaters, in this case neither combustion products nor released water vapour enters the room air if a suitable flue gas evacuation has been mounted on the device’s chimney, leading the flue gases outside of the room to be heated.
The IDS 45 offers a wide range of applications
The combination of the carriage design with mobile use, integrated fuel tank and a maximum rated heat output of 52.5 kW makes the indirect oil heater fan IDS 45 a versatile heating solution for a large variety of applications, for instance:
- Heating of workshops
- Heating of stables
- Temperature control of storage facilities
- Heating of interior spaces of construction sites
- Clean hot air for festival marquees or exhibition halls
- Heating of glass or foil greenhouses
For heating interior spaces, the exhaust air of the oil heater can be discharged from the room by mounting a flue pipe to the stainless steel chimney of the IDS 45 and leading it outside.
Instead of large-volume air heating, the oil heater fan IDS 45 additionally allows for spot heating via hot-air hose. The hose connector required for fitting is optionally available on request as an accessory part – also as two-line hose distributor for simultaneous spot heating of two workplaces. And for longer continuous operation, instead of using the integrated tank, an external oil tank can be used to supply the IDS 45. The connection kit required for this purpose is available as an optional accessory part.
