2-in-1 fan heater and fan TFH 2000 E
Using the turbo spin technology for quick heat generation in the winter and cool refreshment in the summer
Your turbo to distribute warm or cold air throughout the entire room
The 2-in-1 fan heater TFH 2000 E comes with a stylish exterior and is equipped with the innovative turbo spin technology. In its modern housing this appealing all-rounder accommodates two devices at once ensuring an agreeable feel-good climate: a high-performance fan heater and a fan characterized by low-noise operation. So far you needed two separate devices to a) keep you from breaking a sweat in the summer and b) for you to indulge in the cosy warmth produced on winter nights spent at home. With the multifunctional 2-in-1 device TFH 2000 E you can now save both space and money – and benefit from a maximum of mod cons.
Additional heating solution for the winter, fan in the summer
On cold winter days or in the time between seasons, when it seems impossible for your own four walls, the office or holiday home to be heated enough, the fan heater's turbo spin technology with up to 2,000 watts of power and two heating levels (1,200 W / 2,000 W) ensures a quick heat generation and an even distribution of the heated air. When conventional electric heaters fails to blow the warm air far enough into the room, the TFH 2000 E can achieve more uniform room temperatures by means of an air current circulating in the room.
In addition to its electric heating function the compact TFH 2000 E comes equipped with a turbo ventilation mode with two manually selectable speed levels to make sure you can keep your cool on hot summer days as well. The fan's powerful air current provides distinctively more refreshment and circulates more than twice the amount of room air a conventional fan of the same performance class without turbo spin technology is capable of. Another bonus comes in form of the simultaneous smooth running characteristics accompanied by the surprisingly silent operation.
Functional principle of the turbo spin technology
Do you know the problem? In flats with a high ceiling, draughty areas and rooms full of nooks and crannies the heated air cannot reach every section of the room, which consequently leaves quite a few unpleasantly cold spots. The permanently installed heating system can be running at full blast and still your feet are cold. The chief cause for these temperature fluctuations within the room is an insufficient air circulation. The heated air doesn't even reach the floor but rises up to the ceiling, where it cools down again. Plus the room temperature decreases with an increasing distance to the radiator. There is no extensive distribution of the warm air throughout the entire room.
We have the solution: turbo spin! The turbo spin technology of the TFH 2000 E produces an even air circulation in the entire room. The air is sucked into the fan from the rear. There it encounters the 5 strongly curved rotor blades of the extremely fast rotating impeller. These curved fan blades ensure a particularly powerful turbulence and an enormous acceleration of the air current. But that's not all: the spiral-shaped protective grid of the fan does not just contribute to the appealing design, it further enforces the air turbulence. The now extremely compressed turbulent air flow gushes out of the device as tornado-like air column that revolves around itself and advances deep into the room. The air current breaks through warm and cold room air zones mixing it all up. The exiting air current encounters the opposite wall or the ceiling and from there is deflected to all sides. In a constant circulation the air returns to the rear of the fan flowing along the side walls and the ceiling. It is sucked in once more to start a new cycle. This effective turbo spin method ensures maximum circulation and mixing of the room air. The temperature difference between cold air near the ground and warm air just beneath the ceiling is substantially reduced, instead the air temperature in the entire room is noticeably evened out.
Won't a conventional fan or fan heater suffice? Many of the standard fans or fan heaters cannot achieve the described circulation effect at the same intensity level. For process-related reasons their effective range is much smaller, so one has to be situated near the device to feel any of the desired heating or cooling. The turbo power of the TFH 2000 E on the other hand is a great deal stronger and plays in an entirely different league.
Hot & cold – the right room climate for every season
Heating in the winter: On cold days, the turbo spin technology of the TFH 2000 E can ensure that rooms are heater quicker and more evenly. Owing to their larger living area and the stairs maisonettes often have to be heated a lot more during the winter – depending on the room size and the positioning of the device the fan heater can considerably improve the air circulation to make sure the warmth reaches even the farthest corners. The combination device TFH 2000 E can be used either as additional heater or as a fan, e.g. to distribute the cosy warmth of a fireplace in the room.
Cooling in the summer: When the summer sun turns your flat into a sauna, the two fan stages of the TFH 2000 E can provide soothing refreshment. Thanks to the strong air current the generated fresh breeze quickly becomes noticeable in the entire room. Tip: Blow the heat that has built up during the day out of your bedroom fast as the wind by positioning the TFH 2000 E in front of the open window in the early morning or the late evening. The fresh air in all room zones ensures a good night's rest.
Cooling turbo: The TFH 2000 E is also excellently suited to assist the operation of an air conditioning system. The fan distributes the cooled air extensively within the room and so increases the air conditioner's cooling effect.
Fresh air in autumn and winter: During the heating season that is often accompanied by very dry room air your flat should be aired out thoroughly at least once per day. Fresh air contributes to our well-being and reduces the risk of catching a cold. Blow stale and dry heated air out of the window in a breath.
Tip to save energy: As a rule, cold feet or perceptibly colder spots in a room are not the result of a too low heater setting. Unfavourably positioned pieces of furniture can keep the warm air from being optimally distributed within the room. Therefore, increasing the room temperature rarely yields the desired result – instead it leads to higher energy costs! The TFH 2000 E can be used to increase the efficiency of permanently installed heating and air conditioning systems. The heated or cooled air can be distributed in the room much faster by a smart positioning of the device, hence, the effort for additional heating or cooling is reduced.
The perfect combination of design, comfort and safety
The fan heater TFH 2000 E impresses with pure aesthetics and a design derived from the shape of a high-performance turbine. Set up on the floor or on a desk – the compact TFH 2000 E is a stylish eyecatcher in every environment. And using the recessed transport handle at the rear you can simply position the compact device weighing merely 2000 g at the location that best suits you.
Can also impress in terms of safety: It's definitely good to know that the robust, cool-to-touch plastic housing of the TFH 2000 E doesn't even heat up at the highest heating level. The internal heating elements neither emit their thermal energy to the casing nor to the front or rear protective grid. So there's no need to worry when coming into contact with the fan heater even after long-term heating operation. The integrated tilt protection switch provides protection should the device be knocked over unintentionally. As soon as the inherently stable device is on the verge of tipping over, the heating coil will automatically be deactivated. Shortly after that the fan will also be switched off automatically. At the same time a beep is emitted to indicate that the TFH 2000 E is no longer in an upright position. Moreover, the TFH 2000 E is equipped with an overheating protection and the fan's rundown operation lasts long enough to blow all the remaining trapped heat out of the device interior. Better safe than sorry.
Less noisy than one would think: The powerful turbo spin technology produces surprisingly little noise during operation. It's easy to miss the agreeably soft, sonorous humming sound of the exiting air current. Your thermal well-being ensured by either warmth or cooling you can relax in the bedroom or on the sofa watching telly without being distracted by any undue ambient noise.
Automatic thermostat control: The temperature can be preselected on the neatly arranged control panel in increments of 3 degrees within a range of 18 °C to 30 °C. Once set, the thermostat controls the temperature fully automatically. Upon reaching the desired target temperature the heater switches off until another heating cycle is required. It is an equally convenient and energy-efficient solution. There's only one thing to be said about this: In that regard also the TFH 2000 E is an "all-round" success!
